Time for Renewal
After three years in an extended stay hotel and the loss of her older son, this Mom and her younger kids were overdue for a fresh start. Project sponsor Emily Ellingwood and her wonderful friends provided the resources needed to turn this newly-leased apartment into a happy space. Despite everything they have endured, Mom works full-time and her two children continue to excel as honor students. Now the kids’ rooms include comfy beds, desks, lamps, and personalized decor – they are ready for school!
The living area is a cozy space for family time, and there’s a dining nook and a balcony they can enjoy when the weather cools. We hope creating a safe, comfortable space will allow them to continue their healing journey.
