Meet the Families

What a joy to furnish a home for a family delighted by each room they enter! Domestic violence forced Mom and her four girls to move to Atlanta and begin the process of gaining back their independence. A warm home is a big step toward that goal. Volunteers turned an empty apartment into a highly functional and sunny home. Mom’s face lit up as she entered the apartment, and the girls were over the moon when they saw their bedrooms. Two girls hoped for a bunkbed, and two girls wanted an all pink room with twin beds. Big smiles say all their dreams came true!
