A Fresh Start Begins with a Furnished Home.
Each year, Furnish with Love designs and furnishes homes for twenty families in Metro Atlanta who have recently experienced homelessness and need a space that feels warm, happy, and secure.

Our Criteria
Furnish with Love serves families who meet all of the following criteria:

a representative that will complete a nomination form (agency, social worker or school counselor)

children in the home
-
a permanent place to live within 20 miles of our warehouse in Decatur, GA
-
a head of household with a job who is able to pay rent
-
a maximum of 6 people in the home
-
little or no furniture
Apply for a Furnishing Project
The FwL application process begins with a nomination by a social worker, agency representative, or school counselor who personally knows a family. We ask that nominators directly reach out to our program manager Gayle Knight at gayle@furnishwithlove.org to discuss the family's situation and receive our Nomination Form.
If you are looking for help for your family, you will need one of these contacts, who you can ask to reach out to us on your behalf.
Families selected for a Furnish with Love home furnishing project will coordinate with our team to schedule a home visit then a “Nesting Day” when we deliver and set up furnishings. This is usually a 3-4 week process, and we often have a waiting list.
