How To Get Help
A Fresh Start Begins with a Furnished Home.
Each year, Furnish with Love designs and furnishes homes for twenty families in Metro Atlanta who have recently experienced homelessness and need a space that feels warm, happy, and secure.​
Our Criteria
Furnish with Love serves families who meet all of the following criteria:

children in the home
-
a permanent place to live within 20 miles of our warehouse in Decatur, GA
-
a head of household with a job who is able to pay rent
-
a maximum of 6 people in the home
-
little or no furniture
Apply for a Furnishing Project
Our application process begins when we receive a nomination form completed by a social worker, agency representative, or school counselor who knows a family well.

If you are looking for help to furnish your apartment or home:
Ask the social worker or agency staff member you have been working with to contact our program manager, Gayle Knight, at gayle@furnishwithlove.org to request a nomination form.
If you are a social worker or counselor interested in nominating a family:
Please email our program manager, Gayle Knight, at gayle@furnishwithlove.org with information on the family you want to nominate.
Families selected for a Furnish with Love home furnishing project will coordinate with our team to schedule a home visit and a “Nesting Day” when we deliver and set up furnishings.
This is usually a 3-4 week process, and we often have a waiting list.
