Mom, Dad, and two young kids were reunited to start a new life together in their first apartment. Nominated by Covenant House, Mom has been working to overcome a number of challenges in life such as giving birth on a bus, losing all her possessions in a fire, and studying for her GED while working full-time. Her social worker praised Mom’s determination, saying, “her work ethic and resilience have been remarkable.” Using the amazing donations that Furnish with Love receives, it was a joy to design a cheerful home in their new space. The family asked for a happy home decorated in blue and gray with yellow accents. All were thrilled with the results!
