Working Toward Whole

Unlike most of our projects where a social worker contacts FwL to inquire about furnishings for a family, this Mom found Furnish with Love online and asked her social worker at Mothers Advocacy Project (MAP) for a referral. That kind of initiative is what has gotten her out of an abusive situation and into a home where the family can rebuild. Her desire for healing and wholeness for herself and her two toddlers keeps her working despite tall odds. Starting with the two burgundy loveseats Mom had, our design assistant and volunteers pulled together warm natural elements for the living areas and bright colors for the shared kids room. It's a happy space for a sweet family of three.
