Our Big, Huge, Game-Changing Move

Founder Kathleen Kelly and husband Rob Katz stand on the loading dock with the keys to Furnish with Love's new home!

The day has arrived! Furnish with Love officially has a new home in the heart of downtown Decatur. Founder Kathleen Kelly and her husband Rob Katz have purchased a warehouse in downtown Decatur at 508 E. Howard Avenue. Furnish with Love and Rob's law firm will share the space.

We are salivating about all we can do in this soon-to-be built out space.

  • More storage space for furnishings.

  • Ample staging space for project packing.

  • Custom-designed fabrics room with washer/dryer and large sink.

  • Large loading dock for receiving donations and sending out installations.

  • Event space including two inviting glass-paneled dock doors to show off vignettes sampling our work and which can open for plenty of fresh air during events.

  • Multiple restrooms and an on-site kitchen.

  • Large and small conference rooms.

  • Tall ceilings with skylights and high windows for bringing in natural light.

  • Studio Space for painting, framing, woodworking, etc.

  • Showroom style set up for designers to easily shop the warehouse.

  • Volunteer, board member and staff offices.

Location. Location. Location.

  • Proximity to Decatur’s great eating establishments, allowing volunteer teams to conveniently grab a coffee, drink or bite after on site group projects.

  • Covered space in Decatur’s commercial district for conducting fundraising events.

  • Convenient to the many Decatur festivals in which we can participate.

Stay tuned for updates and an eventual open house in the late fall. We are thrilled to have landed in a wonderful spot to grow our organization.
